field study

 date: 11/14/24 time:3:30 wether: I thought it was rather cold out and very dewy  temp:51 sunrise: 7:30 sunset: 5:21 5 senses: feel, see, hear  today was really cold and wet, it had got done raining not that long ago so getting down the hill and in to the woods was a little scary. I did my sound map today and heard and noticed a lot of little things, like the rain drops falling, not only could I hear them I could see it, I also noticed that theres finally water in the river area again, it normally doesn't get as dry as is did this year. I noticed little bubbles coming up from under the leaves in the river. I also did my sketch, I did it for blog number 4 but forgot to add it to the post, so I'm adding it in here. 

  date: oct 31 wether: cooler the yesterday but warm for this time of year  temp: 66 degrees  time:3:35 sunrise: 8;18 sunset:6:39 5 senses: Hear, sight, smell, feel  this week we have had temperatures that are not normal for this time of year. It has been abnormally warm, today was slightly colder then past days but the wind has not died down in 3 days. the type of things i heard today were things like the wind blowing, and leaves blowing in the wind, I surprisingly didn't hear any birds. the things I saw were very beautiful today the leaves have changes color and almost all dropped, this made for an amazing ground floor to walk on. the things I could smell were, the leaves. you know when you are mowing in the fall with all the leaves in your yard and all you smell is the fresh cut of dried leaves all around. it smelled like that but on a smaller scale. the things I could feel was the wind, before I got down the hill I could feel it blowing me all over and my hair wa...

date: October 13  time:12:30  weather: it wasn't necessarily sunny but it was brighter out  temperature: 59 degrees  sun rise: 7:56 sun set: 7:04 wildlife: deer, and squirrels  The things I noticed  I noticed that the river is still fully dried up even though we got quite a lot of rain. I also noticed a deer when I was going down into the woods but it ended up running away. I also heard a lot of birds. The weather was a bit brisk compared to some of the past days this week. the ground was still wet from the storm and in the ground you could see the imprints of the rain drops in the dirt. there was also more debris in the river area. there was a few more branches in the river. there was a lot more leaves on the ground yet it was still very green.   

date; 09/29/24 weather: warm, shorts and t-shirt type weather  temp: 79 degrees  time: 3:37 sunrise:7:39 sunset:7:27 5 senses  feel: still and warm  see:sunny, the leaves are starting to brown, causing the floor of the woods to be dark and brown, there is no water in the river right now, this is likely going to change soon. (this mostly brown picture is of the river area, as you can see its completely dry) hear: birds chirping, squirrels rustling around   

 blog post 1 Date: september  6  Time: 3:23 weather: some what cold compared to the temperature this week. temperature: 68 degrees  sunrise: 7:15 sunset: 8:08 It was quite cold compared to what the weather was in the past week, but in the woods the wind wasn't as bad because of the amount of greenery, I noticed there was a lot of trees and branches and leaves in the river. The river was also very low, but it makes sense because we have not gotten a lot of rain.
